Data Deletion

1. How to request deletion

To request deletion of your personal information held by Veludurthi Technologies, email phaniveludurthi@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request", or submit a request via our contact page. Please include enough information for us to locate your data — typically your name, the email address you used to contact us, and, if applicable, your organization.

2. What information can be deleted

Veludurthi Technologies can delete personal information it holds directly about you, such as contact form submissions and related correspondence. Where Veludurthi Technologies processes information on behalf of a Customer (for example, End User records within Akshara360), Veludurthi Technologies will act on deletion instructions from that Customer, since the Customer controls that data — see Section 6.

3. Verification requirements

To protect against fraudulent deletion requests, Veludurthi Technologies may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before processing a request — for example, by confirming the request comes from the same email address associated with the data.

4. Deletion process

Once a request is verified, Veludurthi Technologies will locate and delete the applicable personal information from our active systems, except where retention is required as described in Section 6.

5. Expected processing period

Veludurthi Technologies aims to complete verified deletion requests within a reasonable time and, where applicable law sets a specific deadline, within that deadline. Specific committed turnaround time: [TO BE CONFIRMED].

6. Exceptions

Veludurthi Technologies may retain certain information even after a deletion request where necessary to:

• Comply with a legal, tax, or accounting obligation;
• Detect, prevent, or investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
• Resolve disputes or enforce our agreements; or
• Retain a minimal record confirming that a deletion request was made and honored.

7. Customer-controlled data

If your information was submitted to Veludurthi Technologies by an organization you are associated with (for example, your institution's use of Akshara360), that organization is typically the controller of your data. We recommend contacting that organization directly, as Veludurthi Technologies will generally act on deletion instructions from the Customer rather than directly from an individual End User, unless required otherwise by applicable law.

8. Meta / WhatsApp-related data

Veludurthi Technologies does not currently operate a live WhatsApp Business Platform integration. If and when such an integration is enabled, deletion of information exchanged through that integration will be coordinated between Veludurthi Technologies, the relevant Customer, and, where the data resides on Meta/WhatsApp's own systems, subject to Meta's own deletion mechanisms and policies, which are outside Veludurthi Technologies's control.

9. Backup retention

Deleted information may persist temporarily in encrypted backups maintained for disaster-recovery purposes until those backups are naturally cycled out in the ordinary course of our backup schedule. Backup retention period: [TO BE CONFIRMED].
