Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited uses of Veludurthi Technologies's software and services (the "Services"). It applies to all Customers, authorized users, and anyone else who accesses the Services. This AUP is incorporated into, and forms part of, our Terms & Conditions.

2. General prohibited activities

You may not use the Services to:

• Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages of any kind;
• Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activity;
• Impersonate any person, business, or organization;
• Send phishing messages or attempt to obtain sensitive information under false pretenses;
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code;
• Host, transmit, or link to illegal content;
• Harass, threaten, or abuse any individual;
• Collect information about individuals without appropriate rights or consent; or
• Violate any applicable law, including privacy and data protection law.

3. Messaging and communications

Where the Services include messaging, notification, or communication features (including, where enabled, WhatsApp Business Platform integrations), you may not:

• Send messages to any recipient who has not provided appropriate consent, where such consent is required by law or by the relevant platform's policy;
• Use purchased, harvested, or otherwise improperly obtained contact lists;
• Send content that violates WhatsApp's or Meta's Business or Commerce Policies, including prohibited goods/services promotion or deceptive business practices;
• Disguise or misrepresent the origin of a message; or
• Use the Services to send unlawful marketing communications under applicable telecommunications or anti-spam law.

4. Abuse of WhatsApp / Meta APIs and platform restrictions

You may not attempt to circumvent rate limits, quality ratings, template review requirements, or any other technical or policy restriction imposed by Meta or WhatsApp on the WhatsApp Business Platform, whether by manipulating Veludurthi Technologies's integration, using multiple accounts to evade restrictions, or any other means.

5. Misuse of customer contact data

If you are a Customer using the Services to manage contacts, students, parents, staff, or other End Users, you may not use that data for any purpose beyond what you have disclosed to those individuals, and may not sell, rent, or improperly share End User data with third parties.

6. Security and technical abuse

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems, probe or scan for vulnerabilities without authorization, interfere with the Services' normal operation, or reverse-engineer the Services except to the extent permitted by law.

7. Deceptive practices

You may not use the Services to run deceptive schemes, including fake giveaways, pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes presented deceptively, or content designed to manipulate recipients into taking action under false pretenses.

8. Enforcement

Veludurthi Technologies may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and may suspend or terminate access to the Services for any violation, consistent with our Terms & Conditions. Where a violation involves a connected third-party platform such as WhatsApp, Veludurthi Technologies may also be required to report or restrict activity to comply with that platform's own policies.

10. Changes to this policy

Veludurthi Technologies may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
